Nokia N97: disappointment

Nokia has just announced the list of technical characteristics of its coming “flagman” smartphone – Nokia N97. It turned out, that it is no as impressive as it was expected. It is said that Nokia N97 will have ARM11 434 MHz CPU and 128 Mb RAM. For example Nokia XpressMusic 5630 and Samsung i8910 smartphones have 600 MHz CPU. As for other features this coming device will have QWERTY keyboard, 3.5 inch touch screen, 32 Gb built in memory, microSD memory card slot, 5 Mp camera, GPS and Wi-Fi module. I hope that Nokia will please us at least with low price.

LG GT500 touch screen

It is said that LG GT500 will be soon released. But until the last moment we had no any information about it. So this mobile phone has 3 inch touch screen with 240x400 px resolution, 5 Mp camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and GPS modules. It is expected that this mobile device will be announced by T-Mobile next month.

Hualu UCG501 MID

Chinese Hualu company introduced its new mobile internet device – Hualu UCG501. This device runs on Windows Mobile operating system and supports CDMA 2000 MHz network. The list of technical characteristics includes 5 inch touch TFT screen with 800x480 px resolution, Bluetooth 2.0 module, TV tuner, 3.5 mm audio jack and GPS module. The battery has 4700 mAh capacity. Unfortunately there is no any information about European and US release date.

Duet D888 dual SIM phone

National Geographic in cooperation with Cellular Abroad mobile operator announced Duet D888 phone which was produced by Beyond E-Tech company. This mobile phone has classic shape factor and not very impressive list of technical characteristics but features Dual-SIM function support. The handset comes around with a range of National Geographic content, including wallpapers and ringtones. Duet D888 also has 2.8 inch screen with 240x320 px resolution, 2 Mp camera, Bluetooth 2.0, FM radio and microSD card slot. Supported network standards are GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 MHz.

Two new Indian phones

Indian Intex Technology Ltd. company announced two new inexpensive mobile phones – IN 5000 and IN 5040. Both of them have classic shape factor and supports GSM networks.

Intex IN 5000 is the first touch phone by this Indian producer. The back side of this device is covered with leather. Du to this fact it looks stylish and solid. There is 2 inch touch screen, 2 Mp camera, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0 module and memory card slot.

Intex IN 5040 features Dual SIM card mode support . The list of characteristics also includes camera, Bluetooth with A2DP and FM radio. Both of this mobile devices cost only $110.

Ben Bazaar dual SIM phone

Ben Bazaar company announced its mobile phone. This device features big touch screen and Dual SIM card mode support. Ben Bazaar mobile device has classic shape factor and reminds of HTC Touch Diamond communicator. It supports four-band GSM and has 2.7 inch touch screen with 240x320 px resolution, TV tuner, Fm radio, Bluetooth 2.0 module, microSD memory card slot and 1800 mAh battery which provides 2.5 hours of talk mode or 48 hours of idle mode. The price of this device is $145.

Sony Ericsson G9

Japanese AU KDDI mobile operator has just introduced Sony Ericsson G9 mobile phone. First of all this device is remarkable for its design but not for its technical features. The case of this mobile phone is covered with titanium. Nevertheless Sony Ericsson G9 has 3 inch screen with 480x854 px resolution, 3.2 Mp camera, IR port, Bluetooth, 1Seg TV tuner, GPS, 700 Mb memory, microSD card slot and 3.5 mm audio jack.

Kyocera Communications Inc company introduced its new Kyocera G2GO M2000 mobile phone on CTIA Wireless 2009 exhibition. This device belongs to budget class and is assigned for chatting lovers. It is side sliding mobile phone has QWERTY keyboard and supports CDMA 850/1900 MHz networks. Kyocera G2GO M2000 also features 2.4 inch screen with 240x320 px resolution, 1.3 Mp camera, Bluetooth, accelerometer and microSD memory card slot (up to 8 Gb). The battery provides 8 days of idle mode or 250 hours of talk mode. The approximate price of this mobile phone is $100.
