Last year Samsung release the Champ device – a budget class touchscreen phone. Now it is almost ready to introduce its heir. Samsung C3330 Champ 2 has 2.4-inch resistive touchscreen with 240x320px resolution, 2MP camera, FM radio, Bluetooth 3.0, MicroSD external memory card slot (up to 16GB cards are supported), 3.5mm headphones jack, 1000mAh battery. There is no any official information about its price but it is expected that Samsung Champ 2 will cost less than $100.

Samsung S3770 affordable smartphone

Samsung Electronics will soon announce its new entry-level touchphone. Samsung S3770 runs on proprietary platform with TouchWiz Lite user interface. It supports GSM and UMTS network standards and has 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen with 240x320px resolution, 2MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, FM radio with RDS, 3.5mm headphones jack, microSD card slot (up to 16GB). The battery of this phone has 1000mAh capacity and provides about 6 hours of talk time or 350 hours of standby one. The device measures 103x55x12mm and weights 96g. The price is expected to be about $150.

Samsung Ch@t 335 Dual-SIM QWERTY phone

Samsung is almost ready to release its new handset featuring Dual-SIM mode support. Both SIM card slots work with quad-band GSM/EDGE networks. In other respects Samsung Ch@t 335 (S3350) is a quite usual entry-level QWERTY phone. It has 2.4-inch landscape screen with 320x240px resolution support, 2MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, trackpad, FM radio, MicroSD external memory card slot (up to 8GB). The phone has pre-installed app that provides quick access to social networks like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace. There’s no word on the release date or price.

Samsung i9010 Giorgio Armani

Samsung and Giorgio Armani continue their effective cooperation and have just unveiled its new limited edition device. Samsung i9010 will be released in December and will be available for about EUR700 in France, UK, Germany, China, Russia, Spain, Italy, Dubai, Hong Kong and the Netherlands. This smartphone runs on Google Android 2.1 Éclair and is equipped with 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 4-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 480x800px resolution, 5MP camera with autofocus and 720p HD video recording support, 16GB internal storage, MicroSD external memory card slot, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, 1500mAh battery.

Samsung Transform QWERTY smartphone

Sprint mobile operator has just announced new smartphone that will become available in its shops in next few weeks. It will cost $150 with two-year contract. Samsung Transform is a typical middle class present-day smartphone. It runs in Google Android 2.1 operating system and supports CDMA EV-DO Rev.A networks. The list of specifications include 800MHz processor 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen with 320x480px resolution, 3.2MP camera with autofocus and flash, frontal 0.3Mp camera for video calls, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headphones jack, MicroSD external memory card slot (up to 32GB), 1500 mAh battery.

Samsung Eternity II touchphone

AT&T has just announced new mobile phone that will replace the Eternity phone. Samsung Eternity II is nice looking monoblock with not bad set of specifications. It supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900/2100 MHz networks and features 3 inch touch screen with 240x400px resolution and 262K colors, 2 Mp camera, Bluetooth , accelerometer, GPS, 512 MB internal storage, MicroSD external memory card slot. The list of pre-installed apps includes special app that aggregates popular social networks updates. Samsung Eternity II will become available next week and will cost $300 or $50 with two-year contract.

In addition to high-end smartphones Samsung also produces budget phones. One of such devices is Samsung SHW-A110. It is sliding phone equipped with 2.4 inch screen with 240x320px resolution, 2 Mp camera, frontal 0.3 Mp camera for video calls, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, T-DMB TV tuner, MicroSD memory card slot (up to 8 Gb). It is also notable that Samsung SHW-A110 supports third generation networks. Samsung SHW-A110 will be launched in next few weeks.

Samsung Jet 2 announce

Recently Indian subdivision of Samsung announced the heir of its popular high-end phone. Samsung Jet 2 (S8003) features 800 MHz processor, 3.1 inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 800x480 px resolution, GPS, and 3.5 mm audio jack. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and Wi-Fi. Samsung Jet 2 has TouchWiz 2.0 user interface that supports Motion UI and Media Gate 3D. There is also DNSe and SRS Sound Effects technology support. There is no information about European or US release.

Samsung M5650 Lindy

This mobile phone has not been officially announced yet but has been already available in Spain and Portugal. Samsung M5650 Lindy is improved version of Samsung Corby. The list of upgrades includes Wi-Fi module, 3G networks support and 3 Mp camera. Other characteristics are 2.8 inch touch screen with 240x320 px resolution, 50 Mb built-in storage, microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and FM Radio. The dimensions are 106 x 57 x 12 mm. Samsung M5650 Lindy will become available in other countries in next few weeks and will cost about $230.

Recently Samsung and Giorgio Armani announced new stylish device. It is sliding mobile phone with impressive set of technical characteristics – 3.1 inch touch screen with WVGA (480x800 px) resolution and sapphire covering, 5 Mp camera with autofocus, 0.3 Mp camera for video calls, Bluetooth, microSD memory card slot (up to 16 Gb) and DMB TV tuner. The dimensions are 100.9х53.7х15.1 mm, the weight is 132g. Unfortunately Samsung Giorgio Armani SCH-W820/SPH-W8200 is not a communicator but it features Armani UI user interface. This mobile will become available by the end of this month and will cost about $850.

Samsung SPH-M330 is stylish slider with third generation networks support. Samsung together with T-Mobile operator has just announced its new sliding phone – Samsung SGH-t659 which is also known as Samsung Scarlet. Samsung SGH-t349 costs $15 with two year contract.

AT&T mobile operator has just announced Samsung i637 which is also know as Samsung Jack. This smartphone has classic shape factor and QWERTY keyboard. It supports GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA networks and runs on Windows 6.1 Professional. The resolution of the screen is 320x240 px.
