LG GW525 QWERTY phone

LG has just published first information about this phone. LG GW525 is a sliding device with QWERTY phone and 2.8 inch touch TFT screen with 240x400 px resolution. This phone is also equipped with ARM9 processor and supports GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and UMTS (900/2100 MHz) network standards. It is also said that LG GW525 has 3.2 Mp camera with autofocus, FM radio, 128 Mb RAM, 256 Mb built-in storage, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and microSD memory card slot. This mobile device measures 106.5 х 53 х 15.9 mm, and weights 125.5 g. Unfortunately we don’t have any information about release date and price.

Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition

Nokia has just officially announced its new mobile phone. Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition is modification of Nokia 5330 Xpress Music and is designed for mobile TV lovers. This sliding device has built-in TV tuner that support DVB-H standard. Other characteristics are 2.4 inch screen, 3.2 Mp camera, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and 3.5 mm audio jack, The battery provides up to 6 hours of TV mode. Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition will become available in the beginning of 2010 and will cost EUR155.

Eston N95 MID announce

Eston has just unveiled its new mobile internet device. The N95 runs on Windows CE 6.0 but the producer asserts that it can also run on Android operating system. As for hardware specifications Eston N95 has Marvell PXA303 CPU, 5 inch touch screen, 512 Mb DDR2, 8 Gb SSD, microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR, Wi-Fi and 2600 mAh battery. Connectivity includes miniUSB, Ethernet and 3.5 mm audio jack. It expected that this MID will become available by the end of this month and will cost about $450.

DROID Eris official release

Verizon Wireless has just officially released its new communicator –DROID Eris which is also known as HTC Desire. This mobile device runs on Android 2.0 operating system and supports CDMA EVDO Rev.A networks. The list of hardware specifications looks good and includes 528 MHz CPU, 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen, 5 Mp camera with autofocus, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi, GPS module and microSD memory card slot. There is also 3.5 mm audio jack and USB 2.0 interface. DROID Eris costs $100 with two year contract.

5 new budget phones by Nokia

Nokia has just announced its five new mobile devices meant for developing countries. These phones are Nokia 1280, Nokia 1616, Nokia 1800, Nokia 2690 and Nokia 2220 Slide. All of them have simple design and very low price. At first these new phones will become available in Indonesia, but later they will be sold in other countries.

Nokia 1280, Nokia 1616 и Nokia 1800 have classic shape factor. The only difference between them is their design and type of screen. Nokia 1280 has monochrome screen but costs only EUR20. Nokia 1616 and 1800 cost about EUR25. All these devices have FM radio and torch. The cases of these phones are made of firm plastic.

Nokia 2220 slide and Nokia 2690 also belong to budget class, but have more advanced set of technical characteristics – VGA camera, Bluetooth, web browser, GPRS, email and MMS support. The battery provides up to 20 days of idle mode. The price of both phones will be about EUR50.
