LG Optimus L3 budget-class smartphone

One of Swedish online stores has just started to accept pre-orders for LG E400 Optimus L3 mobile device. This entry level smartphone cost just $190 and has quite simple list of specifications. It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is equipped with 3.2-inch multitouch capable screen with 320x240px resolution, 3MP camera, MicroSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB port, FM radio.

HTC Rezound

At last HTC officially announced its new flagship smartphone – HTC Rezound. It is the first company’s device featuring 4.3-inch 1280x720px touchscreen. This smartphone is based on 1.5GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Sense 3.5 UI. But HTC promises to release Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update till the end of this year. Other specifications of this mobile device include 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8MP camera with double LED flash, front-facing 2MP camera for video calls, 1650mAh battery. HTC Rezound will become available next week and will be sold by Verizon for $300 with two-year contract.

Samsung Champ 2 touchphone

Last year Samsung release the Champ device – a budget class touchscreen phone. Now it is almost ready to introduce its heir. Samsung C3330 Champ 2 has 2.4-inch resistive touchscreen with 240x320px resolution, 2MP camera, FM radio, Bluetooth 3.0, MicroSD external memory card slot (up to 16GB cards are supported), 3.5mm headphones jack, 1000mAh battery. There is no any official information about its price but it is expected that Samsung Champ 2 will cost less than $100.

Motorola Admiral

Recently Sprint announced new smartphone featuring unusual for present-day smartphones shape factor. Motorola Admiral is a QWERTY monoblock device with rugged case that is dust, shock and temperature resistant. The smartphone runs on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is equipped with 1.2GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB ROM, 3.1-inch touchscreen with 640х480px resolution, MicroSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 5MP camera with LED flash, 1860mAh battery. Motorola Admiral has been already available for $99 with two-year contract.

FLY has just introduced its first smartphone – FLY Swift. This entry-level device is a quite typical for its class. It runs on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and is equipped with 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen with 320x480px resolution, 600MHz Qualcomm 7227 processor, 256MB RAM, MicroSD card slot, 3MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headphones jack, 1100mAh battery. The device measures 107x58x13.2mm and weights 116g. The price of FLY Swift is $210.

Today Verizon Wireless started to sale an heir of Pantech Jest phone. Like its predecessor Pantech Jest 2 is a vertical slider with 2.4-inch landscape screen and full QWERTY keyboard. The device also has 2MP camera, Bluetooth 2.1 module, 3.5mm headphones jack, MicroSD external memory card slot (up to 32GB cards are supported). The price of Pantech Jest 2 is $90 with two-year contract with Verizon.
